Dear Typeracer, First, I wanted to say, I love using type racer with my students. I was wondering if Typeracer would consider making a typeracer program geared for younger learners or kids with learning disabilities. For example, it appears that many of the sentences can be more sophisticated than some students are ready for. They may be just learning the beginning letter in simple words (“b”oy), beginning to spell simple spelling words “boy, cat, dog”, or beginning to type simple sentences ( “I like the cat.”) Thanks for your attention.

A great idea for a contest valikor. There are a number of people who seek typing tips on Youtube. They would surely benefit from using TypeRacer as well.

I myself just discovered TypeRacer today, and there is a new blog post, after quite a long time it seems! 😀

Welcome to the site chewkachu – glad you like the theme!

See you on the track.

Too bad I don’t have a video camera or even a computer at home!! ;/

You can record it with your phone 🙂

Ctrl-A may not work IRL but Ctrl-shift-left_arrow is one of my favorites to save time, it highlights a word at a time and then you can type over the selection.

Never knew that – cool tip! Thanks.

Just hit ctrl+backspace 🙂 You’ll delete the word you’re working on without having to move your hand over to the arrow keys.

Cool – but I can’t hear the sound!

Thanks Hendra!

Why does the line you type on erase after you’ve typed a word? That is so annoying. It screws with reality… I find it so absurd, I say the hell with it.

Thank you for this opportunity! Have been a fan for a long time 🙂

Thanks! This is a great, classic tip
